Channel Sales Manager

The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and leveraging national and regional partners to generate qualified sales leads for Kajeet products and services. This role shares responsibility for driving sales through the Kajeet sales channel. This is a highly visible and complex role, the candidate will be required to support and work with senior managers, inside sales, and marketing teams. The successful candidate must be passionate and proactive in driving channel accountability and growth

The Channel Sales Manager must be an effective strategist and communicator who can take a proactive, consultative approach in developing new business opportunities and managing relationships. This position will report to the SVP, Business Development and work closely with the VP of Sales, operations, product development, direct sales, and marketing staff.

A Day in the Life will Likely Include:

Work closely with management to establish appropriate strategies that leverage the indirect sales channel.
Stay in front of partners through regular site visits, timely responses to partner requests, and by building strong, personal relationships.
Conduct sales training and product demonstrations for partners.
Facilitate meetings, analyzing sales metrics, create action plans to drive revenue growth.
Track daily activities and monthly results. Prepare sales forecasts and report those to management.
Build channel business with or without the tools/resources by thinking out of the box.
Identify non-performing or misaligned partners.
Effectively utilize and update information within CRM tool (Salesforce™). Maintain clean lead, contact, and activity records to ensure accurate reporting.
Adhere to sales processes and protocols to ensure consistency.
Meet or exceed expected sales channel quotas.

Sound Good? What You'll Need to Land this Job:

Demonstrated experience developing sales strategies to consistently grow revenue for channel business
7+ years of experience in B2B channel sales or direct sales management, preferably working directly with or for major US wireless provider(s). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Ability to work effectively across selling teams.
Excellent interpersonal skills combined with demonstrated experience in sales and account management and the ability to present solutions to client needs.
A high-level of drive, discipline, creativity and motivation.
Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
An ability to work in a fast-paced, change-oriented team environment.
Strong organizational, planning, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
Excellent computer skills (including CRM systems, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook)
Travel in U.S. regions 25%+
